October 2022

Catalina State Park is north of Tucson, Arizona, situated at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains.

The campground has large sites with views of the mountains. It connects to trails that go through areas with Saguaros, desert plants, foothills and canyons.

We took the scenic route from Truth or Consequences - NM-152.  It's a windy road through mountains, over Emory Pass at 9,000', down to Silver City, then on to Catalina State Park.
